The Do More Agriculture Foundation is looking for you.
About The Do More Agriculture Foundation:
The Do More Agriculture Foundation (Do More Ag) champions mental wellbeing within the Canadian agriculture industry. Our mission is to cultivate a culture where everyone in agriculture feels encouraged, supported, and empowered to take care of their mental wellbeing. Farmers and those working in rural communities face unique challenges—stress, anxiety, depression, grief, emotional exhaustion, and burnout are widespread, often compounded by limited access to care. With so much outside their control, mental health can feel like an added weight.
Do More Ag exists to help lighten that load. We create spaces for meaningful action, foster connections that reduce stigma and isolation, and work to bridge the gap between available mental health resources and the people who need them. Our goal is to nurture informed, compassionate, and resilient agricultural and rural communities—where mental health is prioritized alongside physical health.
Seeking: Facilitators
Position Summary: The Do More Agriculture Foundation, in partnership with Farm Credit Canada, offers local community workshops to increase mental health literacy across Canadian agriculture. Our flagship Talk Ask Listen sessions are delivered both in person and online and have reached communities from coast to coast.
We are currently expanding our roster of trained facilitators to support these sessions on an as-needed basis. This is not a full-time or regularly scheduled position—facilitators are independent contractors called upon to lead workshops as opportunities arise. A typical facilitator may deliver 1–3 sessions per year (approximately 12–15 hours annually), depending on availability and regional demand.
If you are a mental health professional, have training such as Mental Health First Aid, and/or bring lived experience supporting your own or others' mental health, we’d love to hear from you. We provide coaching, resources, and administrative support to ensure you’re equipped to lead.
We are especially seeking facilitators in British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec, and the Atlantic provinces.
Interested? For more information about becoming a facilitator, please email Executive Director Dr. Merle Massie at merle@domore.ag.

The Do More Agriculture Foundation encourages applications from all who wish to apply. We especially welcome those who have experience with Canadian agriculture and/or mental health and/or rural spaces in Canada.
